On Monday night, the Marshall County Marshals returned to Preston Cope Field for senior night, where they played host to the Ballard Memorial Bombers. The streaking Marshals entered play off the back of a successful road trip against Benton, IL, taking both games off a doubleheader as they carried a seven-game win streak into Monday.
The Bombers were looking to break their momentum and build a run of their own following a doubleheader sweep of Fort Campbell over the weekend. Marshall鈥檚 seniors showed up on their big night, coming together in a considerable sixth-inning effort to rally for a 3-2 win, their eighth in a row.
